Received lots of 'Good Things'

I have lots of cute Martha inspired stuff....a much needed package after a LONG week. Raesha over at 'My Love', you are the best! You made me some wonderful stuff...the little strawberries are soooooo CUTE and the bag I love too...heck I love it all! The added goodie box that you purchased just topped the whole package - thanks so much :-)

Join Me and be Pink

I just stumbled across a blog called "Girl Gone Thread Wild" and I noticed a neat project that is to help raise money to go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure fight for breast cancer.

I decided to be a "member" of the Pink Artist Community.....you too can join in the artful cause - just hop, skip and jump on over for details.... leave a comment in the participation post and create a 2"x2" collage square...but make sure to mail it to Monica by March 1st. Each square received will be added on to an artful doll, quilt and a journal. The project will be showcased in an upcoming article in Stampington's Art Doll Quarterly.

Happy New Year to one and all! I apologize to those who are reading this blog as I feel like that I am falling a tad behind and am not able to post new stuff on here as much as I would like....to much going on. I am planning on doing artwork posts, etc by the end of this month. Thanks for your patience and your reading "patronage". More to come, I promise :-)

Waiting with Heart

Well, today is the 1st Sunday in Advent and the official countdown till Christmas in the McIntire house. The tree has been up since the week before Thanksgiving (since we were out of town the weekend of the holiday).

This red heart ornament was part of my late grandmother's collection...so simple but yet an important addition to my tree.
