My 1st Pink Saturday!

Well....this is my very first Pink Saturday post! I found this through looking at a fellow Mary Jane Farmgirl's blog -Maryjane Lee (The Beehive Cottage). I was hooked by seeing a "sea of pink" and a link lead me over to Pink Saturday HQ!

After looking through my stash of pink items, I decided to post two of them:

One is an nifty apron that was made by another Farmgirl friend, Bev over at Sew on and Sew Forth...she gifted this to me!!!!! The fabric is in different pinks with bees and clover. The apron is also reversible...a polka dot pattern is on the back. It is almost too pretty to wear :-)

The next picture is just of a couple of pink boxes. These boxes I hold all of my journaling scraps. Pages and snippits from all of the magazines that I look at that go into my journaling projects. I seem to have a ton of these type of boxes (not all of them pink tho)...as I always accumulate TONS of scraps.

I am looking forward to seeing everyones' pink stash.

I loved your pink shares. The apron is wonderful---too pretty to wear while cooking, but maybe while sipping tea from a pink china cup! Your box reminds me I need to tidy up some of my paper messes! Welcome to Pink Saturday!

Good morning "Artful!" I saw on Monica's blog that you too are involved in the 10x10 project for Susan G. Komen and I wanted to see if you had any "goings on" with your block yet. I'm still mulling over what do do on mine. I love love loveyour little pink apron -- do you wear it or just "treasure it." I see you're from Renyoldsburg, OH - I was born and raised in Westlake (just outside of Cleveland.) I just noticed in "quilting arts" magazine that there is a rather large quilting festival in Renyoldsburg, OH. Are you familiar with it? D

Your apron is lovely! I'm also a scrap collector! My hubby doesn't understand why I cut up all (well, almost all!) of my magazines when I'm finished with them and save the scraps! I'm just not sure what I'm going to do with all of the lovely pictures I save! I think I'll use them for collages or journals.

Hi Amy,
This was my first Pink Saturday too. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun checking our everyones PINKS. Your apron is so darling and I love the fact that it was given to you by a friend.
I have a question? What are the "Farm girls?" Is it part of "Sister's on the Fly?"
Have a great Monday,
:) Cori G.
